See you at Summerfest! Our Staff Picks

 

If you’re like us, you’ve been celebrating at Summerfest for years now – each one better than the last. This year looks to be no different, with over 700 bands to choose from, during eleven action-filled days –and don’t forget, free cycle parking at the Mid Gate for riders. We asked our staff members bands they’ll be checking out at this year’s fest, and here are their top picks!

 

 

 

 

Rascal Flatts

You’ll find a whole bunch of us at the Rascal Flatts show. These Grammy winners always know how to put on a great show, with the perfect mix of rocking country and bluegrass. They’re touring die-hards who live for the road – just like us. If you’ve seen them already, you know what we’re talking about. If not, you’re in for a treat!

 

Foo Fighters

When you think of a modern classic that can pack a lot of power, what comes to mind? A V-Rod? For sure, just like the Foo Fighters! It’s hard for us not to like a band with songs like Everlong, Wheels and Monkey Wrench under their belt. And these rockers show no sign of slowing down.

 

 

Lady Antebellum ft Darius Rucker

Was Lady Antebellum’s song “I Need You Now” stuck in your head all of last year? Us too. This Nashville Trio writes some seriously catchy crossover songs. Bring your American Honey down to this show – whether that means your real life sweetie or your beloved bike – and you’ll be sure to Own the Night.

 

 

Brantley Gilbert
Harley-Davidson Roadhouse

There’s always a great line-up to be had at the H-D Roadhouse stage and one of our must-see’s this year is Brantley Gilbert. If you like to Kick it in the Sticks even when you’re cruising the city, this show is for you. With songs that range from country ballads to fist pumping rockers, Gilbert knows how to get it done.

 

 

Zac Brown Band

Thurs, July 5th| 7:30 PM
What can we say – we love our country, and it’s no wonder. With bands like Zac Brown Band, it’s hard not to tap your toe and kick back. But if you prefer flip-flops to cowboy boots, have no fear – you’ll still feel right at home. These Harley riders have been known to throw in a reggae beat from time to time too.

 

 

Aerosmith with Cheap Trick
Marcus Amphitheater
Sat, July 7 | 8:00 pm
They still look great and know how to rock! Just like you, right? Whether you have been listening to Aerosmith and Cheap Trick for years or are just a youngin, it’s hard not to sing along to rock classics the likes of Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion, and I Want You to Want Me. One of the best double-bills of the fest, you won’t want to miss a thing.

 

 

Like every year at Summerfest, our home away from The House is the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse, and from July 5th through the 8th we’ll be hanging at the Dealer Garage.
